This piece began with wanting to show off the beauty of the dark wood veneer sheet I picked up at Urban Source. With the veneer as my inspiration and foundation for the painting I began adding various elements, playing with things until I found a pleasing composition. It has been a piece that I thought was done at a couple points along the way, but kept changing my mind. Now, finally, I have decided that it is finished. Let me know what you think (I realize it is quite different from alot of my other recent work, but it was fun)

I love it...if you need a home for it...hint hint...It does have a different feel to it for sure.
